Holiday Help
Can you help us get gift cards for our Social Work program?  Washburn currently has about 30 students who are identified as Homeless/Highly Mobile. We also have many families who are facing housing or food instability. Can you imagine trying to be a teenager and worrying about basic needs such as shelter, food, or clothing? Thanks for your support of our own Millers who could use some extra support during the holiday season!

This year we are collecting gift cards from the following stores. Cards in any amount help. Cards can be mailed to the school (attn: Erica Lebens-Englund) or they can be brought to the main office.
  • Walmart (*most requested)
  • Cub
  • Target
  • Walgreens

Molly Koppel, English Teacher

Molly Koppel is the next deserving staff of the week! Molly is not only a wonderful teacher in the English department, but works to make a difference outside of our community. Her recent fundraising efforts with her classes are a testament to what a compassionate person she is and an ideal role model for our students. Mr. Lynn says, "When describing Ms. Koppel, this quote comes to mind from one of the most profound songwriters of all time: ' She's gonna wish on stars and touch the sky.' -- Britney Spears
