Parent Council is happy to organize a teacher appreciation meal that we provide to staff the night of conferences on October 18.  We will offer staff a meal on Tuesday Oct. 18th from 3:20-4:30 in the cafeteria prior to Tuesday night conferences. It's a really long day for them so they greatly appreciate having a meal provided. Please check out the sign up link below if you are able to help volunteer with set-up/clean-up or can donate food items. It takes a lot of donations to feed up to 200 staff members so feel free to forward this link to other friends you think might be able/willing to purchase items as well.
Please email Laura Norris, our lead parent for this event, with any questions! laura_m_norris@yahoo.com

Kevin Olson
Last week we honored Kevin Olson, SEA in the wrap department! Kevin comes to work everyday with a smile on his face and works very hard. He is always willing to help and go above and beyond his job! Every day he's taking care of his and more. He always is connecting with the kids in program and other kids around the school. He is a man who quietly makes us "One Washburn." Not only is he a great guy but he plays a mean bass in the Johnny Mac 49th Street Band!

Christine Denoman
This week we honored Christine Denoman, Special Education Assistant WRAP. Thanks for all the hard work you do. Everyday she comes to work and gives 110%. She is extremely dedicated to making a difference everyday! Thank you and congrats Christine!
