STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Jeanne Wilkowski
Our crew of SEAs and WRAP do a lot of work with our students that range from helping them learn basic daily living skills to assisting them in various job opportunities in the community. Our students also play a big part in our school. They help prepare all the ice packs for the health office, help deliver your Wednesday cup of joe during advisory, help the athletic department prepare programs that are distributed during games, and probably one of the most important: they help fill up the soda machine with your favorite beverages. We have a great team in our department, and EVERY person is a valuable asset in having each of our students succeed.
Jeanne Wilkowski is one of those great leaders who has been with Washburn for 15 years, and has spent 20 years of her life working in special education. She comes to work everyday full of compliments, and stories. She is outspoken, outgoing, and unique in the best ways possible, and always makes an effort to get to know our students both in and out of the program. Please give it up for Jeanne Wilkowski. Thank you for being so dedicated, caring and wonderful. Washburn is lucky to have you.
