"Patients were asked if they were more confident and comfortable in their provider’s appearance when they wore a white coat over professional or casual dress. Results were overwhelmingly in support of white coats! 91.1% stated they were more comfortable and 89.0% stated they were more confident with their provider dressed in a white coat."
