Our first ever quarterly "FOCUS ON" breakfast is this Thursday, November 8, at Lewisville City Hall. These breakfasts will be quarterly on the months we have no partnership luncheon. This first one is sponsored by Texas New Mexico Power and features special guest State Representative Ron Simmons as we FOCUS ON: State Government. There is NO CHARGE to attend, but if you will RSVP online here, we can plan for breakfast. Hope to see you there!

Senior Services Alliance Meeting

Soulman’s Bar-B-Que Brings Thanksgiveaway Back to North Texas
The Soulman’s Bar-B-Que Thanksgiveaway is back in North Texas. In the spirit of the season, Soulman’s launched online nominations for 21 area families on November 2, 2018. Each family selected will receive a Thanksgiving family meal, including a bone-in hickory smoked turkey, cornbread dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce. Nomination forms are available online at the Soulman’s Facebook page.
Denton County Friends of the Family Presents the Second Annual Holiday Express
After the success of last year, DCFOF is once again taking over the A-train in collaboration with DCTA and turning it into a holiday themed train ride. While on the train, guests will be treated to a performance by Musical Theater Denton. But that's not all! The magical day continues with a family brunch and fun kid-friendly activities at the "North Pole" and "Elf's Playland".
