Canada's Emergancy Benefit Applications Open This Week.
It is important to know during the application period for the Canada Emergency Benefit, applications will be accepted on certain days of the week, depending on your birth month, in order to reduce the strain on their online portal. 

  • Mondays: Those born in January, February and March.
  • Tuesdays: Those born in April, May and June
  • Wednesdays: Those born in July, August and September
  • Thursdays: Those born in October, November and December
  • Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: Everyone can apply.

To help small business in the Basin, the Trust will:
  • provide low interest working capital loans to help businesses meet immediate needs or plan for future recovery
  • increase the support available through the Impact Investment Fund
  • waive fees for Basin RevUp
  • provide increased wage subsidy support through Summer Works and the Career Internship Program
  • increase the resources available through Basin Business Advisors and Training Fee Support. Read More
