Solbotix was established in 2021 to address an emerging global need for automated solar panel dry cleaning solutions. Most future solar projects will be large utility scale in arid areas, where excessive dust and soil can lead to significant revenue losses for solar project operators. The estimated revenue pool for these solutions is expected to reach $500 mil by 2025 and $3bn by 2030, as additional new solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity will grow rapidly, in response to increasing demand for renewable energy.

Solbotix is a member of the Elvan Group, which comprises Elvan, producers of cable trays since the 80s, and Elvan Solar, specializing in design and production of PV mounting systems that are used in solar panel installations. In 2021, Elvan Solar produced and delivered fixed PV mounting structures for more than 200 MW’s. The Elvan Group revenue has achieved a CAGR of more than 30% from 2015 to 2021 to an estimated €17 mil in 2021.
Antaisolar, the leading supplier of the whole industry chain in PV mounting system. Established in 2006, it has currently built up a manpower of 800 employees with R&D team of 120 specialists of diverse technical background. Antaisolar has been focusing on consistently providing convenient, reliable, and innovative solar mounting and tracking systems over the past years.

Headquartered in Xiamen, China, Antaisolar is based on the mission of ” Raise a Green World”, and has been continuously optimizing and promoting the global service by setting up branches and offices in Japan, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam and other regions. As for its producing force, it is distributed within five major manufacturing centers located in Turkey, Indonesia, Fujian, Jiangsu and Tianjin.

As of the end of 2021, its cumulative solar racking shipments had reached 19.3GW. It has ranked No.1 in Japan’s solar racking market share and ranked No.1 of export volume to Japan for eight consecutive years and ranked top 1 in Australia and Chile distributed generation market.
MESIA ORIGINALS
Spotlight on Hanna Jabbour, Intertek Regional Managing Director of MENA and West Asia
“In the coming years, technology improvements will ensure that solar becomes even cheaper and more accessible. IRENA estimates that by 2030, solar will have become the most important source of energy for electricity production in a large part of the world, which would also have a positive impact on the environment and climate change.“

Past, Present and Future Outlook on Green Hydrogen

“Most projects in the MW range being currently implemented still have some ‘first of its kind’ character. However, there is huge momentum in terms of governmental commitment and growing global pipeline. Therefore, most industry experts expect the green hydrogen market to become a double-digit GW market in the next few years“

Spotlight on Stephen Molden, Head of Operations at Sun in Motion
"Solar has changed significantly, in 2010 when I delivered some of our first installations it was a dark art no one was aligned modules where 210 w and the network operators had no understanding about embedded generation which caused many issues in trying to connect and push the technology. Now the world seems to have aligned and most governments, Manufacturers, EPCs, Financiers and utilities are heading in the same direction."

Spotlight on Marwan, Middle East Sales Director for JA Solar

" The cost of modules has fallen by almost 70% since 2010, making solar projects more competitive than other sources of energy. In addition to the cost decline, solar modules technology has improved significantly in the past decade- higher-efficiency mono modules are replacing multi-silicon modules. The new decade will see the global solar energy industry tapping into innovative technologies to enhance long-term project performance while continuing to lower system costs".

Nextracker Unveils NX Horizon-XTR Terrain-Following Solar Tracker for PV Power Plants
Nextracker™ launches NX Horizon-XTR™, a terrain-following, single-axis tracker designed to expand the addressable market of solar power on sites with sloped, uneven, and challenging terrain. Nextracker began deployment and empirical testing of NX Horizon-XTR at utility scale three years ago, working closely with customers that faced capital expense and construction challenges on project sites with hilly terrain.

JinkoSolar is First in the World to Reach Delivery Milestone of 100GW of Total Solar Panels
One of the largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers in the world, today announced it has delivered 100GW of solar modules globally. JinkoSolar is the first company in history to achieve this milestone. Approximately one out of every ten solar modules installed in the world was produced by JinkoSolar.

Fact check: Cross-mating of PV connectors
Damage to photovoltaic systems caused by cross-mating of different PV connector brands is a recurring issue. Often there are reports from testing institutes about tests regarding the combinations of PV connectors from different manufacturers, which lead to a false interpretation of compatibility. In this case, distinctions have to be made between design type certificates and individual testing, and the consequences from both a technical and legal perspective.
