Felix Schoeller introduces RubyPaper - the first true photo paper for high-speed inkjet printing
Felix Schoeller sets a new quality standard with the introduction of the first genuine photo paper for high-speed inkjet. The new RubyPaper requires neither lamination nor varnishing and delivers a high-quality, authentic photographic look and feel in both lustre and glossy finishes. Technically, RubyPaper is based on a specially developed, fast-drying colour receiving layer that produces a wider colour gamut, higher detail and edge sharpness, and a characteristic photographic feel, while enabling the full production speed of high-speed inkjet systems. All this is achieved without the effects commonly associated with laminated or varnished coated paper, such as colour casts, adhesive artefacts, or ageing risks. In terms of feel, RubyPaper matches traditional silver halide-based photo paper.

Alphasonics announces DPH430-4 Digital Print-Head Cleaning System
At the heart of the DPH430-4 is the integration of Alphasonics’ proven Alphasound ultrasonic technology with its new Nano-Surge chemical enhancement process. Ultrasonics provides precise, carefully controlled mechanical cleaning, while Nano-Surge works chemically at a microscopic level, penetrating confined internal channels and nozzle pathways that traditional methods cannot effectively reach. This dual-action approach ensures deep yet safe cleaning of intricate internal components. By combining mechanical precision with chemical reach, the system achieves levels of cleanliness previously unattainable through standalone ultrasonic or chemical processes. Beyond cleaning performance, it can provide reduced replacement frequency, maintenance & production downtime.

Mimaki launches hybrid UV-LED inkjet printer UJ330H-160
The hybrid UV-LED printer UJ330H-160, is designed to switch between roll and rigid output quickly and easily in a single unit without the need for the large space and capital investment usually associated with a dedicated 4×8 flatbed device. It is targeted for graphic production sites such as sign makers and commercial printers. To achieve stable output to various roll materials (thin films & fabrics), this product uses a newly developed belt-transport system to reliably transport them without losing proper tension or creating wrinkles. In addition, this transport system also provides high stability when outputting rigid materials. The Auto-Vacuum plus front and rear lock roller units allow stable transport of large and oversized materials.

AMIS launches AMIS Runtime for automated Additive Manufacturing Workflow
AMIS, part of Hybrid Software Group announces the official launch of AMIS Runtime, a powerful automation and scripting engine designed to eliminate repetitive build preparation tasks, reduce operator errors, and bring fully configurable, hands‑off workflows to industrial additive manufacturing. AMIS Runtime automates the complete Build Preparation workflow — from part import to intelligent nesting to slicing and exporting — enabling AM operations to run consistent, configurable, and repeatable procedures across SLS, MJF, Binder and Material Jetting systems. AMIS Runtime addresses one of the industry’s persistent challenges - the amount of time AM teams spend on manual, low‑value tasks that do little to improve output quality but significantly impact throughput, operator stress, and end‑of‑day workflows.
