National Community Health Center Week 2026

Celebrating the Heart of Our Mission

From August 2 to August 8, San Ysidro Health proudly celebrated National Community Health Center Week, a time to recognize the people who make our mission possible every day: our employees, patients, and community partners.

Vote NO on Prop. 44

Protecting Access to Care in Our Communities

Every day, San Ysidro Health provides high-quality, affordable healthcare to thousands of individuals and families across our region. From primary care and preventive services to behavioral health, dental care, and community programs, our mission is rooted in ensuring everyone has access to the care they need to live healthier lives.

Proposition 44 could have significant consequences for that mission. The measure is projected to impose approximately $17 million in annual penalties on San Ysidro Health, potentially diverting resources away from patient care, community programs, workforce investments, and other services that strengthen access to healthcare.

At a time when healthcare needs continue to grow, we believe resources should remain focused on caring for patients, expanding access to services, and supporting the communities that rely on us every day.

We encourage our staff, patients, supporters, and community partners to learn more about Proposition 44 and its potential impact on local healthcare.

Learn the facts. Protect access to care. Vote NO on Proposition 44.
