MacCormac College President Receives National Honor for Work on Behalf of College Students
Dr. Marnelle Alexis Stephens, president of MacCormac College, was presented with the Outstanding First-Year Student Advocate award from the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition sponsored by the University of South Carolina and Cengage Learning.
MacCormac celebrated and examined the achievements of African-Americans and how their experiences have shaped the United States with educational events and quizzes during Black History Month in February.
Vernita Allen-Williams is one talented lady. Growing up it was her dream to become an actress, but her wise mom encouraged her to develop another skill to fall back on while chasing her acting ambitions.

MacCormac College is the oldest, two-year, private, non-profit institution, in the state of Illinois.
