Look Up and Stay Clear

When you’re working or playing outside, ensure you and all your equipment (ladders, paint extenders, drones, and remote devices) stay at least ten feet away from power lines.

If an object ever becomes caught on a line, do not attempt to remove it. Stay clear and call Unitil immediately at 1-888-301-7700.

Avoid Utility Impersonation Scams

Consumers lose billions of dollars a year to fraud. One of the most common tactics is pretending to be a representative of your utility and demanding payment or threatening shut-off.

Remember: Never share personal info with a caller or visitor you don’t know. Unitil welcomes calls to verify our employees.
