Can We Talk About Race?
Courageous Community Conversations:
Can We Talk About Race?

In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Aubery, and Breonna Taylor, incidents in NH such as the arrest of Jean Ronald Saint Preux, and numerous slights in our own Greater Goffstown community have caused many of us to examine our beliefs about discrimination and racial justice. After having elected an African American as President, many people thought racism was behind us. Yet recent events seem to prove otherwise. Join us as we continue to explore these topics, facilitated by James McKim, Goffstown resident and President of the Manchester Branch of the NHNAACP.

These events will be held remotely via Zoom, for details and to register, visit http://bit.ly/CCCRace2020 .

  • History of Racial Discrimination - Tuesday 8/11 at 7pm
  • Microaggressions & White Privilege - Tuesday 8/25 at 7pm
  • Institutional Racism - Tuesday 9/15 at 7pm
  • How to Be an Advocate - Tuesday 9/29 at 7pm

Registration is required , we will meet virtually and all registered participants will receive an email invitation with details on how to join the discussion.

Museum Pass Program
Museum Pass Availability

Many of our Museum Pass partners are reopening their doors to the public, and library passes are being made available once again. One of the safety measures being taken by facilities is to require visitors to obtain advance reservations at their locations -- a library pass alone will not guarantee admission. Please read all information carefully when reserving a pass, and for the most up-to-date hours, closings, exhibit information, and facility calendars, please contact your destination directly.

Thanks go to the Friends of the Goffstown Public Library for fully funding the Museum Pass Program.
