The big Rockland summer festivals may have come and gone, but our City has a busy fall season ahead. From free parking for Rockland residents to a complete schedule of upcoming cruise ships, get caught up on all that's happening around town.

Free Parking for Rockland Residents!

Are you a Rockland resident? Rockland residents are eligible for up to one hour of free parking per day at the paid parking stations Downtown. Get all of the info on the City's website by clicking the button below!

The 2nd Annual Electrification Expo is Coming!

The 2024 Electrification Expo will be held on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Harbor Park in Rockland. The Rockland Electrification Expo is a free, outdoor community event showcasing all things electric and energy-efficient.

Rockland to Welcome Large Cruise Ships

Beginning on September 7, a series of large cruise ships will make port in Rockland.

  • On September 7, the Odyssey will bring to port 987 guests
  • Up to 1,916 guests from the Zuiderdam will come ashore on Sept. 8 and 22
  • On September 9 and 20, it will be the Celebrity Eclipse's turn with its 3,013 passengers
  • The Queen Mary 2 will carry 3,090 potential visitors on September 24
  • The Volendam comes to port on September 29 with 1432 passengers
  • and the Celebrity Summit arrives with 2,038 guests on October 1
