2024 Multiple Myeloma March: A ‘Sweet 16’ to remember

Highlights from the Alberta and Ontario

Multiple Myeloma March, 2024

It's a wrap!

The 2024 Multiple Myeloma March surpassed our goal and raised over $928,370 (and we’re still counting!)

The last of the 16th annual

Multiple Myeloma Marches took place on October 6th in Vancouver, Montreal-Centre, Barrie, and Regina. The weather and turnout in all locations were fantastic, a perfect way to wrap up an incredible event season!

A huge congratulations goes out to each and every one

of you who made this year’s march season a remarkable one.

Whether you were a march leader, organizer, committee member, fundraiser, spokesperson, participant, moral supporter, or you contributed financially, you are the reason for this incredible success.

Your unwavering support, passion, and creativity raised over $927,000 for our Canadian myeloma community ...our highest fundraising total ever!

The funds you raised will:

  • support our investments in critical research to improve the lives of Canadians impacted by myeloma,
  • support advocacy for access to new drug therapies,
  • bring us one step closer to finding a cure.

The Multiple Myeloma March is not only our most important national fundraising event, but it is also a heartwarming, inspiring, and exciting way to build strong local and national myeloma communities. We hope you enjoyed being a part of it.

You are our inspiration!

Multiple Myeloma March shines bright in Saskatoon!

Kudos to Marie Prokopiw, Ray Wilgenbusch and Patricia Prowse

of the Saskatoon and Area Multiple Myeloma Support Group and Saskatoon Multiple Myeloma March on getting their march lit up in bright lights in their 2nd annual Multiple Myeloma March billboard campaign!

Three eye-catching billboards ran from August 23 - September 23, 2024, with an estimated 92,160 plays and 71,993 daily views!

What a creative and undeniable way to raise awareness in your local community.

Congratulations to everyone!
