Congratulations to KARI GOODSPEED (Bluetone Communications, LLC) who became a grandmother to Finley Kathryn on February 2nd. Have fun with that baby, Kari!

Celebration is in order, too, for NACM Southwest employee KEILAH SUTANTO on the birth of her baby girl, Emory Grace, born on February 13th and weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 oz. All our best wishes go out to Keilah and her family.

We were saddened to hear that RUSS GRIMM, newly retired from Heatwave, passed away on January 6th after contracting COVID-19 while battling cancer. Russ was dedicated to the credit profession and spent sixteen years as a board member on the NACM MidAmerica Board and was a mentor to others entering the credit industry. He attended his credit group monthly and gave of his knowledge and expertise to the group. When the association needed a location in Tulsa to meet for training or social events, Russ would volunteer the showroom at Heatwave for the gatherings. Thank you, Russ, for helping others. You will be missed.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CREDIT EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR!

We were honored to recognize Anne Scarcella, CCE, CCRA as our credit executive of the year during our Annual Meeting last month.
Anne has served the profession tirelessly for many years now. Her contributions include not availing herself of the education opportunities that NACM offers, but also giving back by being an instructor and sharing her knowledge with others who want to learn and grow in their careers.
She is a valued part of our network and supports NACM services and shares with others how those resources and services can provide value to each of them! From understanding the importance of contributing her company’s data to attending industry credit groups, Anne serves tirelessly to ensure that everyone has the knowledge to do their jobs to the best of their ability.
We could go on and on about her contributions to the industry, the profession, and to NACM and its members. We’re hopeful that in the near future you’ll get a chance to meet and network with Anne which will, no doubt, provide you with an understanding of just how deserving she is of this award.
Thank you Anne for all you do and CONGRATULATIONS!
