The Community Service Newsletter
Community Engagement. That's what transforms communities. Bringing together not only the neighbors within but also building a wonderful team outside of the complex to bring excellent services to the entire community. Over the last year, Atlantic Housing Foundation built a team of fantastic Resident Services Coordinators who delivered a whopping 1400 hours of service at each community. The number of subscriptions to this newsletter, The New Community Service Newsletter, rose from zero subscriptions to over 500! The read rate went from 25% to 75% this last newsletter (wasn't Santa great?) We awarded more residents than ever before with our amazing Atlantic Housing Foundation Scholarship. We built relationships. We built partnerships that matter to bring services that our residents asked for through the survey and that they need. We did it with the utmost of care and concern for safety and amidst a pandemic. Facebook subscriptions went from five followers to over 300 followers (thank you to our faithful five). In the midst of a pandemic, our teams managed to faithfully deliver services regardless of the obstacles in their way. Here, Anna Bobo, Resident Services Coordinator for Quail Ridge, hosts a coffee with a cop to thank the Fort Worth police department for their continued partnership with the Quail Ridge Community. #LawEnforcementAppreciation

The Atlantic Housing Foundation is committed to excellence in service and a focus on giving back to the community. We operate under a set of core values that drive our business goals and everyday operations. These are:

We hope you enjoy this edition of the New Community Services Newsletter and we wish you and yours a Happy New Year!
Partnership Spotlight
Quail Ridge Apartments Celebrates Community Partnership with the Fort Worth Police
Resident Services Coordinator Anna Bobo and Community Manager Sebera Roman planned a special treat for their community partners of the Fort Worth Police Department. Bobo's words on her Facebook post for the community event say it best: "For the time you took your oath. For the time you responded to our needs. For your service. For your security. For your bravery. For our peace. For our protection. For your courage. For your safety. For your sacrifice...THANK YOU!
You can view this post on both the Quail Ridge Apartments Facebook page and the Police Offer Association Facebook page.
Atlantic Housing Foundation is thankful for these great officers and our other important law enforcement partnerships.

Resident Coordinator of the Quarter
Anna Bobo, Quail Ridge Apartments
In just a short time, less than a year of work, Anna Bobo has coordinated amazing partnerships to benefit the residents of Quail Ridge Apartments. She has already been featured in an edition of the New Community Service News for one of the partnerships -- a food partnership that provides adult and kid meals on the weekends in addition to her feeding program, the JEWEL Foundation, Monday through Friday. Bobo works tirelessly to bring the best in service to her residents. Thank you, Anna, your care for your residents certainly is clear!
Anna started at the beginning of the pandemic. She has yet to be able to hold an in-person large event, but when she does we know it will be amazing!
Community Manager Spotlight
Sandy Gonzalez, Community Manager, Palm House Apartments
Sandy Gonzalez, Community Manager at Palm House Apartments, is no stranger to hard work. Her dedication to her job took her on a path from Resident Services Coordinator, to Leasing Agent, Assistant Manager, to her current position as Community Manager. She attributes her success to her former supervisors, Margurite Reese, Community Manager of Covington Creek; and Sebera Roman, Community Manager of Quail Ridge Apartments. She says as a Resident Services Coordinator she tutored but was motivated to learn more about the office. She asked if they needed help every chance she got, learning more about leasing and how the office worked. Sandy said she loved learning, but she especially enjoyed the teamwork and the fact that everyone was willing to teach her and take the initiative to help her get better at what she was doing and learn new skills.
Sandy Gonzalez introduces her team
What is the secret to her success? She says she wakes up and reads her favorite motivating quote every day: "Every day is a new beginning. Take a deep breath, smile, and start again". She starts each day with a positive attitude and she says this helps her stay motivated and focused on what she needs to do to make it the best day for her residents. Thank you, Sandy, for your dedication and commitment to your career!
Congratulations Sandy!
