Greetings,
MFMP For Vendors is a quarterly communication created to keep you up-to-date on recent news from MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP)!
Important Information about the MFMP Transaction Fee
MFMP connects agency customers and vendors with online, centralized access to streamlined procurement activities. The transaction fee supports MFMP services, including future improvements to the vendor registration process, enhancements to the overall customer experience, and a more modern bidding process.
The fiscal year 2020-21 transaction fee percentage is expiring. Effective July 1, 2021, the MFMP transaction fee will be one percent (1%).

Payments issued on or after July 1, 2021, by agencies or eligible users to vendors for purchases of commodities or contractual services under Chapter 287, Florida Statute, will be assessed the 1% transaction fee.

Put MFMP Updates on your Spring-Cleaning Checklist
As the fiscal year comes to an end, remember to take time to review and update your VIP profile. MFMP recommends updating the following details of your VIP profile regularly:
  • Contacts enable state agencies and the MFMP team to contact you before, during, and after doing business with the state.

  • Locations (P.O. Info, Remit To, and Billing Contact) are used to send purchase orders, payments, and billing notifications to the correct person and location.

  • Solicitation Selections determine whether your business is notified about solicitations by the Vendor Bid System (VBS) or MFMP Sourcing and the email address where solicitation notifications are sent.

  • Commodity Codes identify the products and services your business offers.
Check out the Managing Contacts and Locations Job Aid on the Vendor Job Aids web page for step-by-step instructions and more information about how the State of Florida uses your VIP contacts and locations.
