Throwback on Acsess National Conference 2021: can virtual conferences really replace physical gathering events? 

Hi!
On May 12 and 13, the annual Access National Conference 2021 was held (Lien : https://conference2021.acsess.org/ ). While the circumstances forced the organizers to plan an event exclusively online, it was all the same nearly 250 staffing enthusiasts coming from everywhere in the country and from the US who gathered for this occasion.

24 speakers were invited over the two days to address a variety of hot subjects, such as:
- mental health research and the impact of Covid-19 on employers and employees,
- the balance between the efficiency of the technology,
- automation to save time in the new world of work,
- the methods to work ON your placement agency, while working there,
- talent curation, or how to get ahead of the competition,
- the commitment within his agency.

The video conferences where clear with good sound and attendees could easily interact with the speakers. There were many options available to interact amongst the attendees as well like the breakout rooms.

In a temporary or permanent employment agency, not all employees use the same information: the recruiting team, for example, does not need to have access to income information. Compartmentalizing access to information in this way is an important process in securing the data contained in the application. Happy National Day!

  
If June 24 has officially been Quebec’s National Day since 1977, under the leadership of René Lévesque, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day has been celebrated for nearly 200 years in Quebec. It was in fact on June 24, 1834, in the gardens of John McDonnell, that Ludger Duvernay, Jacques Viger, Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine and about sixty people participated in the first “banquet of Saint-Jean”. Duvernay subsequently invited all French Canadians to do the same in their villages.

Year after year, this festival has brought French Canadians together and has survived political turmoil as well as changes in society. It was also on his occasion that Gilles Vigneault, French Canadian poet, and songwriter, composed in 1975 what is considered by many to be the National anthem of Quebec: “Gens du pays”.

A few days in advance, the entire PRIM Logix team wishes all Quebecers a Happy National Day!
