The Creation Care Commission asks that attendees bring a mug for coffee or tea.

The Commission also asks that attendees pay attention to the signs related to disposal of waste.

Episcopal Recovery Ministries of the Diocese of Georgia will hold an AA meeting on Friday morning from 8-9 am in the Study Room at the Hilton Garden Inn.

All Saints Tybee Celebrates Diamond Jubilee

Bishop's Visitation
Seventeen people were confirmed, four received and four reaffirmed when Bishop Benhase made his annual visitation to Saint Paul's last Sunday. The Rev. George Muir and the Rev. John Jenkins are pictured along with the Bishop and the Rev. Sandy Turner, Deacon.
Around the Diocese
Bishop Benhase preached at the service for the memorial dedicated last week for victims of lynching in the state of Georgia. The event was held at the Absalom Jones Center in Augusta.

Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist (aka the Rev. Hallock Martin of St. Matthew's Fitzgerald) asked the question, "Who am I?" to Trick or Treaters at the church door, then shared briefly about who the patron of the little stone church was. Candy was given to the children, St. Matthew's pens and note pads to the adults. 

Prayers for Weekly Liturgies
Our one-year prayer cycle combines prayers for every congregation in the Diocese of Georgia with prayers for our ecumenical partners and for our Companion Diocese of The Dominican Republic. The 52 weekly prayers are available in one document  found here. 

November 4-10
In our diocesan cycle of prayer, we pray for our congregation on Tybee Island, All Saints. We also pray for our ecumenical partners on the Island, especially St. Michael's Catholic Church. In our companion diocese of the Dominican Republic, we pray for the congregations in Santo Domingo, especially St. Andrew (San Andrés).

November 11-17
In our diocesan cycle of prayer, we pray for our congregations in Valdosta, Christ Church, Christ the King, and St. Barnabas. We also pray for our ecumenical partners in Valdosta, especially St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In our companion diocese of the Dominican Republic, we pray for the congregations in Santo Domingo, especially St. Philip the Apostle (San Felipe Apóstol).

Diocesan Office Update and News
Diocesan Staff will be in Albany November 7-10 for the 197th Convention of the Diocese of Georgia, 

Bishop Scott Anson Benhase will make his annual visitation to Holy Trinity, Blakely at 10 AM Sunday, November 11. The bishop's  full schedule is available

There will be no noon, Thursday service at Diocesan House.
