Ireland Active Conference & White Flag Awards for 2018

Four time All Star, former All-Ireland Camogie winning Captain and Ireland Active Ambassador, Anna Geary was joined by Minister of State for Local Government and Electoral Reform, John Paul Phelan at Ireland Active's National Conference and White Flag Awards held in Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny to recognise excellence in the industry.

Congratulations again to all of our members who achieved the White Flag National Quality Standard this year.  Overall winners include:

New Appointments

Childrens First Act 2015 

On 2nd October 2017, the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs launched the revised Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children and announced the commencement of remaining sections of the Children First Act 2015 from 11th December 2017.
The newly commenced provisions of the Children First Act, including mandated reporting, will come into effect from 11th December 2017.
