2018 Celebration of Excellence Gala
Honoring our Hometown Heroes

October was a show-stopping month of service and giving! Thanks to our community, Interfaith was able to honor our 2018 Hometown Heroes, all while raising vital funds for local families in need. A very special thank you to our generous supporters, including Presenting Sponsor Woodforest National Bank. We raised $750,000. All proceeds go straight back into serving families in need in South Montgomery county.

Food Pantry Needs

When you think of GIVING this holiday season, think of Interfaith! Over the next 2 months, an expected 6,000 men, women and children will ask Interfaith for help. Interfaith's Holiday Programs provide gifts, toys and traditional holiday meal foods, perishables, toiletries and paper goods to our neighbors living in South Montgomery County. Interfaith Food Pantry is self-sustaining thanks to the generosity of our community food drives and purchases from local grocery stores.

When you give to Interfaith, you are giving to families and Seniors in OUR community. Help us serve our local neighbors in crisis. Interfaith is now collecting Holiday food items for Thanksgiving! Additionally, families will receive a gift card for a turkey! To be a donor for our Gift Programs, click the button below.

Congregations Collect for Food Pantry

Thanks to the donations of our member congregations, the Interfaith Food Pantry will be able to give food to an estimated 600 households per month. We are so grateful for the donations in October from  Joyful Life Church, Living Word Lutheran Church, The Woodlands Christian Church and Unity Circle of Light Additional food pantry support came from Christ Church United Methodist and  The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church.
Day of Caring

Our community-wide food drive was a huge success! We are so thankful for everyone who came out to support our 45 Years of Caring! We are proud to announce that we reached our goal, and we are thrilled to be able to serve our community thanks to your generosity.

Serving Our Seniors
Cancelled

Due to poor weather, our SOS event was cancelled in October; however, 42 home projects were still completed by contract work. Please stay tuned to our newsletters, website and social media to save the date for our Spring SOS, as the date is still being determined.
Fall Caregivers Conference

Thank you to Christ Church United Methodist for providing a lovely venue for our Fall Caregivers Conference in partnership with CarePartners. A special thank you to Dr. Daniel Hannon for his inspiring words to open the conference. Participants were encouraged by receiving useful information and resources on caring for their loved ones. Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, sponsors and caregivers who made the day possible.

In addition to serving the families that visit Interfaith every day, the Interfaith Food Pantry also serves home-bound seniors. Volunteers help package and delivers groceries to 185 Seniors in the senior complexes once a month.
