The City of Calgary is bringing Rick Hansen, the "Man in Motion", to Calgary on International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3. This is a special presentation at the Performance Hall in the new Central Library.

YES , my child is still using the adapted bike. I will be renewing the loan agreement for 2019.   Click here   to renew the agreement and pay the annual loan fee of $50.
 
NO , my child is no longer riding the adapted bike. I will be returning the bike we borrowed to Cerebral Palsy Kids & Families, #121 – 7015 Macleod Trail SW, during regular office hours of 10am - 3pm PRIOR TO November 6, 2018 or will phone to make alternate arrangements @ (403) 205-4935.

My child has outgrown the bike and we need to  apply for a different bike .    Click here  to register for our 2019 Adapted Bike Program. Please register early, as the clinics fill up quickly.
 
Thank you so much for your cooperation. It is our hope that all borrowed bikes within our program that are not being used, will be returned promptly.

There will be a one time screening of a documentary - A Life Unbound - Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 7pm at the Plaza Theatre in Calgary.

This film is about about neuroplasticity and neuromovement and features the work of Anat Baniel. It tells the story of a family from Saskatchewan with a child with cerebral palsy, as well as a young woman who survived a devastating stroke and her road to recovery. Interviewed in the film are Dr. Jill Bolte-Taylor, neuroscientist who wrote My Stroke of Insight, Dr. Martha Herbert, and Dr. Michael Merzenich, professor emeritus neuroscientist and former co-director of the Keck Center for Integrative Neuroscience at UCSF in California.
