Westerra Credit Union Financial Tip
With the holidays approaching, you may be planning to travel to visit family and friends - or to take a vacation. As you make your travel plans, be sure to plan ahead for your finances, too. Our friends at Westerra Credit Union offer a few tips to help you manage your money while you're away.
  • Be sure to let your financial institution know where you are going and how long you'll be gone. That way, when you use your credit card or debit card away from home, they will know that it's really you and authorize your transactions.
  • For added security, check with your financial institution to see if they offer an app that lets you turn your credit and debit cards on and off - such as the free CardNav app that many credit union members use.
