DAYTIME FUN FOR THE WINTER MONTHS

COMCAST/XFINITY NORTH POLE TRAIL OF LIGHTS RETURNS TO ROTARY PARK

Experience the magic of the season at the Comcast/Xfinity North Pole Trail of Lights! The walk-through light display runs December 2-30 with more than 250,000 lights, glowing ornaments, and visits from Santa on Friday and Saturday evenings before Christmas.


MAYOR'S CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

The Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting on December 2 marks the official kickoff to the North Pole Trail of Lights, when every bulb shines bright for the first time. Enjoy music performances and a lighting countdown led by Mayor Lievsay and special guests.

ACTIVITIES ON DECK

LETTERS TO SANTA

A North Pole Mailbox is arriving soon to the Carson Ross Community Recreation Complex! From November 24 through December 18, drop off your letters to Santa in the mailbox in the lobby. Include a valid return address to ensure you receive a letter back!


PAINT & MOVIE NIGHT

Enjoy the holiday classic, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, while channeling your inner artist! On December 12 from 6-8 p.m., paint a holiday masterpiece while enjoying the film. At the end, all participants get to showcase their work. Click here to learn more.


CREATE A CRITTER

Join us for our sixth-annual Create a Critter on December 13 from 10 a.m.-noon! Skip the store and create a magical friend together. Each kit includes an animal of choice, a wishing heart, stuffing, a birth certificate, and a bag to bring them home in. Click here to learn more.


NOON YEAR'S EVE

Ring in 2026 and still get a full night of sleep! Our second-annual Noon Year's Eve is December 31 from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Blue Surf Bay indoor Waterpark. Celebrate the new year with TWO beach ball drops and fun activities. Click here to learn more.


WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION

Registration is open for Adult and Little All-Stars winter sports leagues! Three- and four-year-olds can hit the courts for cheerleading and basketball. Adults can stay active this winter through basketball and pickleball. Registration closes early January.
