We are just about one week away from our 4th annual Robert Tedford Memorial Road Race and we are finally looking forward to beautiful fall weather to serve as the background for this exceptional event. The road race was created to honor longtime Recreation Director Robert Tedford and all proceeds are put toward projects that promote or enhance recreational facilities and opportunities. So please join us in honoring Bob the best way we know how to...by enjoying the outdoors!

Please feel free to peruse the programs that still have openings this fall and please also note that basketball registration ends for all programs on November 15.

Intro. Basketball

Basketball Registration for youth aged 4 through second grade is still open! We are also always looking for volunteer coaches! If you have interest please reach out to the Rec Department. To register visit the link below. Deadline is 11/15.

Each year, dozens of Ellington families send letters to the North Pole, and each year the Recreation Department helps to ensure each letter receives a response from Santa Claus himself. To participate, please drop off your letters at Santa's Mail Box in the Ellington Post Office starting on November 27 and ending December 15.

Please also ensure your letter has your child's full name and legible return address so that we can ensure a successful delivery.

Adult Pick Up Basketball

Informal pick up style basketball for adults aged 21 and up, play occurs from 5:30 - 6:30 PM on Monday nights.
