Don't miss out! Registration is extended for the 14th Annual Gingerbread Festival! The new deadline is November 20. This year's festival is returning to The Mall at UTC and will be displayed in conjunction with the UTC Festival of Trees in various areas along the upper level of the mall during December 1-19.

Gingerbread kits are FREE for Girl Scout troops (limit one per troop; additional kits available for $10). Entering a house is easy! Complete the registration form and pick up your kit at the customer service desk at UTC by November 21 (please note, kits will only be given to those who have registered). We will have two drop off dates this year, Wednesday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 5, please be prepared to select a date when registering. 

We look forward to displaying one-of-a-kind gingerbread houses created by GSGCF Girl Scout Troops. For more details contact [email protected]. 

We believe in every girl’s power to change the world. They are tomorrow’s leaders and today’s problem-solvers. On November 29, we’re participating in Giving Tuesday, a global day of unity and giving and hope you will support our efforts.

Not only are girls living through a transformative time, but there are many girls and families in our council affected by Hurricane Ian who are facing a long road to recovery. As we know, when disasters strike, Girl Scouts are among the first to respond and take action to make the world a better place.

We have seen girls volunteering to help clean up storm debris in Ft. Myers, Sanibel, North Port, Arcadia, and elsewhere in our council. Troops and leaders from unaffected areas used their Girl Scout knowledge and cooked on grills to serve neighbors and first responders. And, we've seen troops participate in donation drives and “adopt” girls who have lost everything. 

Your support amplifies girls’ abilities to continuously and courageously volunteer, support their neighbors and improve the world around them. With your gift, we can champion the change-makers of today—and tomorrow. Will you join us?
