Service Update

Beginning November 2: The Children’s Room will be open to one family at a time, for 20-minute appointments with no ability to sit, play, etc. Appointments can be made online at www.goffstownlibrary.com/calendar or by calling us at 497-2102. There is a limited schedule for this service:
  • Monday 9-2
  • Tuesday and Wednesday 5-8 pm
  • Saturday 9-1

Important Reminders

You will be required to wear a face covering while in the library building. Disposable masks are available in the lobby, along with hand sanitizer.

Foyer Browsing: Our foyer area is open for browsing and check out of materials during regular hours. We have moved a selection from all areas, mostly new materials, and includes materials for kids, teens, and adults. You can still place requests remotely, and pick up contact-free, if you prefer.

Parking Lot Pick-Up: We will continue contactless parking lot pick-up of library materials for those who prefer that method. Just call us from the parking lot, open your trunk/back door, and we will place your items there.

Your returns are quarantined for 72 hours, and will not be checked in until after that quarantine period.

Computer Reservations: Call us at 497-2102 to make an appointment to use a computer. To keep Library staff and visitors safe, we are limiting the number of PC's in use, so your appointment length may be restricted.

TeenToGo Bags
New Teen-To-Go Bags

Each month features a new craft. The major supplies needed as well as directions for the monthly craft will be included inside each bag.

This bag can also be used in conjunction with Let's Create ~ Teen DIY videos premiering on our YouTube channel.

Stop by the Library starting Friday, 11/6 to pick up this month's bag: mini cereal box notebooks. Teen-To-Go bags are located in the Library foyer.

Teen-To-Go bags are for tweens & teens in grades 5-12, while supplies last.
Gratitude Grab Bag Whiles Supplies Last
Special Gratitude Grab Bag
 
Pick up a Gratitude Grab Bag and have some fun with family and friends in the kitchen or around the dinner table. The Gratitude Grab Bag contains:
 
·        a $5 Hannaford gift card,
·        a game,
·        a craft,
·        and two recipes.
 
The recipes are provided courtesy of the Hannaford Dieticians. These bags are available
while supplies last, beginning Thursday, November 12 in the Library foyer.

I Know It's Thanksgiving, But I Want Tacos!
 
Join Registered Dietician, Marilyn Mills, as she discusses how to build a balanced meal plate or deconstruct a meal to see the food groups.
 
Finally she'll demonstrate how to make some turkey tacos with leftover Thanksgiving fixings (one the recipes in the Gratitude Grab Bags).
