November 2025

President’s note:

I hope this message finds everyone well and ready for another great season of golf! My name is Debbie Sheperd and as a long-time member of the SWFL Chapter of LPGA Amateurs I’m truly honored to serve as your new President. I want to start by thanking Patty Gift and the rest of the board for their hard work and dedication — they’ve set a high bar, and I’m excited to build on that success.

We are excited for the start of the new season and look forward to great events and league play! Please check below for upcoming events and check the website often for more opportunities for golf and fun social events. We also will keep you updated on LPGA Amateurs national events and promotions. We value every member and will do everything to make sure your experience with us is welcoming and enjoyable!

The CME Group Tour Championship is Nov 20 - Nov 23 at Tiburon Golf Club. Come out and watch the LPGA players compete- for FREE - your LPGA Amateur membership entitles you and a guest to free entry to LPGA tournaments.

Your Input Matters: I’d love to hear your ideas for making this season even better — new formats, social events, or anything that keeps the league fun and competitive.

Our league has always been about more than just golf — it’s about camaraderie, sportsmanship, and good times on (and off) the course. I’m looking forward to meeting both returning members and new faces as we tee it up this year.

See you on the first tee!
