Oak Grove Center recently received a generous grant from San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Foundation for vocational training including video production, working on creating Public Service Announcements (PSA) and a Music Video.
Through this program, youth gain confidence as they learn and master new skills. They are also able to share informative content on issues they feel are important to their peers. Another area youth receive vocational training is the Culinary Arts.

Part of the experience for Oak Grove Students and Residential Youth is the opportunity to access amazing speakers. During Spring Break, Youth enjoyed two exciting speakers meant to educate and inspire.
Chef Rosie O'Connor (pictured with Tammy) spoke to a group about moving forward after mistakes and being confident in who you are and what you do.
Dorm B was also honored with a workshop from Keisha with Abundantly Authentic (bottom photo). Youth worked on Vision Boards and talked about being and building good friendships.
Thank you to Chef Rosie and Keisha for their continued and growing partnership and the impact they make!
