Sellen Raises $115K for ANEW

Thank you to Sellen Construction, who just finished their annual fundraising campaign! With the support of 63 subcontractors, Sellen raised $115,000 in support of ANEW's pre-apprenticeship programs. These funds will aid tremendously towards the growth of our organization, allowing us to support a greater number of people!

Inclusion Summit Follow-Up!

ANEW in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau hosted our Inclusion Summit Fall Follow-Up on September 28th to discuss the specific topic, Gender Based Violence and Harassment in the World of Work.

The focus of our conference was to start the conversation on identifying specific strategies to prevent and address GBVH and collaborate with allies in diverse sectors, employers, and across government so as to develop and implement strategies and interventions which strive to prevent and address GBVH in our industries.

Green Jobs, Green Futures Fair

ANEW was proud to represent a booth at the Green Jobs, Green Futures Summit to finish off the month of September! Students visited our demo station and painted amazing bee houses. We truly believe in a future with sustainable employment and a sustainable environment!

RPAC Out-of-Work Workshop for Apprentices & Pre-Apprentices

RPAC is hosting a workshop for out-of-work apprentices and pre-apprentices next month. In celebration of the 2023 National Apprenticeship Week, this workshop will offer resources and tools to any (pre-)apprentices and coordinators interested in attending. The event will be held at ANEW's Training Facility in Tukwila. Register for the event now!
