We are proud to announce a partnership with Hopewell City Schools to provide mental health services to children in five schools. This partnership addressed the increased need for mental health support and services impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In addition to providing therapy for students, ChildSavers will continue to support Hopewell City Schools educators and school-based student wellness professionals through training and consultation. By providing mental health care within public schools, ChildSavers takes health care to the community instead of requiring the community to come to us.

National Philanthropy Day 2022

Every year, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) celebrates the charitable work done in communities across the country on a day known as National Philanthropy Day. This year's celebration will occur on Tuesday, November 15.

To show our gratitude for their many, many years of service to ChildSavers (40+ years combined!) and the completion of the very successful ChildSavers100 Campaign of which they co-led, ChildSavers nominated Roger L. Boeve and Linda V. Schreiner for this year’s Enduring Spirit of Philanthropy Award. We were absolutely delighted to learn that they were selected from an extremely competitive pool of applicants to receive this year’s award. 

Congratulations to both Roger and Linda on their selection of this prestigious award, we are grateful and honored for all they have done to advance the work of ChildSavers. 

CS100 Celebration

Earlier this month, we celebrated the success of our CS100 Comprehensive Campaign. It was a beautiful evening to reflect and celebrate the collective contributions from our friends, community partners, and our staff which made this campaign a success. 

Our campaign was launched to support the ChildSavers100 vision to double the number of children we serve by 2024, the year this agency turns 100. Referred to as our “moonshot,” this was the most ambitious fundraising campaign in our history.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, this vision has become a reality; we have upgraded our technology, invested in our physical home, sustained and expanded programs, and strengthened our endowment, all done to serve even more children and families. 

While we celebrate our success, we are looking ahead to what’s next for ChildSavers. We are excited to have you along for the next phase of our journey as we strive to make access to quality children’s mental health and child care options even more widely available to our community.

Mark your calendars -- Giving Tuesday is back on Tuesday, November 29th. 

Giving Tuesday is celebrated globally to encourage giving back to your community, and is our biggest digital fundraiser of the year. Your collective gifts connect children to trauma informed mental health services, and quality child care.

Last year was our most successful year to date, with gifts made from over 100 donors and raising nearly $65,000 in one day. Save the date to give your best gift on November 29th!

2022 Children's Holiday Party -- Donations needed

Each year, ChildSavers hosts a holiday party for our mental health and child care clients. After 2 years of a drive through party-to-go, we are returning to an in-person celebration in early December!

We are in need of new toys and art supplies for the party by December 1, 2022. If you or your company are interested in hosting a toy or art supplies drive, please contact Yasmin Gregg ([email protected]).
