Hello ,
What a month September was! Women ROCK! The Tent was an incredible celebration, and we’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. While we were disappointed that weather forced us to cancel this year’s Second Summer Cycle, the safety of our riders and community always comes first. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who trained, fundraised, donated, and rallied around Team WE CAN.
And the year isn’t over yet! On Thursday, November 5, we’ll gather for our annual Community Breakfast and a very special celebration of 25 Moments of WE CAN. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate 25 years of connection, community, and women supporting women.
Thank you for continuing to show up for WE CAN and for one another!
With endless gratitude,
Lisa Guyon
Executive Director, WE CAN

Volunteer Spotlight: Dr. Risa Oliveira-Ramos
We’re so grateful to have Dr. Risa as part of the WE CAN volunteer community! Risa generously shares her expertise in accounting, taxes, business, and education through 1:1 appointments with WE CAN participants. Her knowledge, compassion, and ability to connect with participants in several languages help women feel more informed and confident as they navigate important decisions for themselves and their families.
"What I enjoy most about volunteering with WE CAN is seeing a woman leave a conversation feeling more informed, confident, and hopeful than when she arrived."
– Risa
