Help Us to Help Brookline High School
Dear Friends,

In a time when creative thinking in public education is critically important, the BHS Innovation Fund plays an important role in driving innovative approaches to teaching and learning at Brookline High School. As we approach the end of the year, we are launching our Winter Appeal Campaign with a specific focus on raising funds to support the next phase of our groundbreaking COVID-19 Teaching and Learning Response Grant. With your help, we can continue to support faculty as they seek to provide a positive educational experience for students and support BHS as one of the leading public high schools in Massachusetts.

Earlier this year, the BHS Innovation Fund provided the first COVID-19 Teaching and Learning Response Grant which enabled over 30 BHS educators across the core departments to work collaboratively over the summer and then share their learning to their colleagues school-wide. This emergency grant made a direct, positive impact on the work all BHS educators have been doing this fall, benefiting students right now.

As we plan ahead, we are asking you to make a donation to support the next phase of the COVID-19 Response Grant, which will fund continued, collaborative work by BHS faculty and leadership to support student success through this academic year and beyond. The BHS Innovation Fund is funded by contributions from BHS parents and caregivers and members of the Brookline community. Your tax-deductible donation to the Innovation Fund will support our ability to fund this emergency grant request from Brookline High School.

Please help us reach our Winter Appeal goal of $50,000. Together, we can make a difference by investing in public high school education and supporting flexibility, resilience, curiosity and inspiration in the classroom. Donate here or contact us at

With great appreciation for your support of our unique public high school,

"The BHS Innovation Fund stepped up to meet the moment. The COVID Grant unified great thinking among our faculty, and inspired further thinking. Everyone has the 'we can do this' mentality."

~ Jenee Uttaro, Dean of Old Lincoln School (Brookline High School Ninth Grade)
Our mission is to catalyze innovation at Brookline High School by supporting faculty-driven curricular initiatives that will inspire our students and prepare them to thrive in a changing world.
