PANCAKE BREAKFAST
(Saturday, July 6, 7-11 am @ Eastsound Fire Hall)
Volunteers will be serving up our secret recipe for pancakes, sausage, eggs, and beverages. Adults $7.00, Children $5.00, under 5 years of age eat FREE. All proceeds support the Orcas Island Firefighters and EMT's. 
COMMUNITY PARADE
(Saturday, July 6, noon @ Eastsound)
The theme of this year’s Orcas Chamber of Commerce parade is "Celebrate the Seasons on Orcas Island", and the grand marshals are Judy and Scott Whiting. 

45TH ANNUAL ORCAS ISLAND LIONS CLUB SALMON BBQ
(Saturday, July 6, 1 -7 pm @ Eastsound Fire Hall)
Members will be serving smoked salmon, BBQ chicken, baked potatoes, rolls, and cole slaw. Take-out available. Adults $18.00, Children under 12, $12.00.
Proceeds support local community service projects and scholarships.
Tickets available at Kay’s, Cherie Lindholm Real Estate, during the parade and at the door.

VOTE FOR EASTSOUND'S HONORARY MAYOR
(Ends July 6)
The race is in full swing with five cute dogs in the running! Vote often and feel good, with every $1 vote going towards operating costs of Orcas Island Children's House. The race comes to a close on July 6th at 2 pm. Vote in town, at the Farmer's market, or online at www.oich.org. WOOF!

4TH ANNUAL AMERICAN LEGION PIG ROAST

The Orcas Island Community Foundation (OICF) has teamed up with OPAL to help fund April's Grove, the 45 affordable rental town homes planned on North Beach Rd. We will add $10,000 for every 50 donors on FRIDAY, JULY 5th.
