Bailey Coach CEO Becomes Youngest President of the World’s 24th Largest Rotary Club

Courtney Piccolo, CEO of PBA Member Bailey Coach recently became the youngest president of the Rotary Club of York! With 42,000 clubs globally, The Rotary Club of York stands out as the 24th largest, boasting 300 members. Rotary's mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.


As a third-generation Rotarian, Courtney follows in the footsteps of her father, John Bailey, championing the spirit of "service above self." She is honored to serve as the 109th President and will be the youngest President in the club's history. Congratulations, Courtney!

Martz Bus Annual ROADEO Safety Competition Held

Sandy Borowsky, Starr Bus Charter and Tours Offers Insights

As a third-generation entrepreneur, Sandy shares the challenges and rewards of sustaining a family legacy and her aspirations for future generations.


Delving deeply into their company's culture, Sandy emphasizes the importance of creating memorable experiences for their clients, employing committed individuals, and cultivating a sense of family among all staff. Meet Pennsylvania's Americana Region's New President

PBA Member, Pennsylvania's Americana Region announced a new President and CEO, Heather Zimmerman. Heather served as a member of their board for 3 years and now takes on a new role at PAR. Heather brings a diverse background in hospitality and tourism to the job. In her most recent position as Executive Director, she revitalized the aging festival with new vendors, rebranding, new marketing materials, and a new website. Under her direction, USA Today's 10Best ranked the 9-day celebration as one of North America's top cultural festivals in 2023 and 2024. 


She will oversee day-to-day operations and work to advance the role of tourism in Berks County through advocacy, community awareness, relationship building, and, most importantly, growing tourism to the area. Heather Zimmerman succeeds Crystal Seitz who is currently transitioning into retirement. Read more...

Biden-Harris Administration Strengthens Transit Manufacturing Industry with $1.5 Billion to Put More American-Made Buses on the Road

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announced approximately $1.5 billion in funding to support 117 projects that will improve public transportation in 47 states. Under the President’s historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, FTA has awarded nearly $5 billion in the past three years to replace and modernize transit buses on America’s roadways, building new technology with American workers. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves, R-Mo., and Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., outlined their requests in July 10 letters to leaders at the U.S. Department of Transportation, Department of Homeland Security and Environmental Protection Agency. Transportation a Top 10 Target of Cyberattackers

The transportation industry saw 101 data violation cases last year. The number of cases is up more than 181% from the year before and the 101 incidents logged last year matches the total number of cases from 2020, 2021 and 2022 combined. In all the segments ranked, no other industry saw a year-over-year increase larger than transportation, with only the financial services sector coming close (177%). Read more...
