SPOTLIGHT

Megan Cline grew up in a large Italian family in Sonoma County. She was one of seven children, so there was constant chaos in the household, but it was chaos in a good way. She roamed the vineyards with her dad, while he quizzed each of the kids about grape varieties and their unique qualities. When it came time to attend college, she went south, to be near a warm beach, and attended UC Santa Barbara to study Italian and Marketing. She didn’t plan to work in the wine industry. Here’s her story.

IN MEMORIAM

Our sincere condolences for the loss of Tim Crichfield, co-owner of Crichfield + Black Vineyard in the Petaluma Gap. Tim died suddenly last month, after an heroic 11-year battle with Merkle Cell Carcinoma. We’d like to honor both Tim & his wife, Sherry Black Crichfield, as our first “Petaluma Gap Heroes,” for their donations to the Nghiem Lab for Merkle Cell Carcinoma; each annual donation was also matched by Cap Gemini, Tim’s firm. Click here for more information or to make a donation in Tim's honor.
