Beneath the Surface: Let's Talk about Non-Motor Symptoms The most common image used to describe the symptoms of Parkinson's disease is that of an iceberg. The motor symptoms (tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia, and postural stability) are the portion peeking above the water and the larger portion, below the surface, are the non-motor symptoms of PD.
