Honoring the Pastors Who Stand With Us

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we want to pause and say something simple but heartfelt: thank you.

Pastors carry a great deal. They shepherd, counsel, teach, and pray, often with little recognition. Yet, in the midst of all that responsibility, so many of you have chosen to stand with women, men, and families facing unexpected pregnancies. For that, we are deeply grateful.

When our Baby Bottle campaign launches, it is your pulpit announcements, your bulletin inserts, and your encouragement that put bottles in the hands of your congregation. When the Walk for Life comes around, it is your voice that fills the route with walkers, families, and youth groups. And when we gather for our Celebration of Life, it is your leadership that helps fill the room with people who care about our mission.

Your partnership is changing lives. Because of the support you rally, 21 babies have been saved, we've had 1,681 client visits, and 124 people have prayed with us to receive salvation. Behind every number is a mother who felt supported, a child with a future, and a life touched by the hope of Christ.

Every bottle returned, every step walked, and every gift given reflects the trust your people place in you. Because you lead with compassion, your congregations respond with generosity. That generosity becomes free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes, diapers, and a listening ear for those who need them most.

We never take this partnership for granted. We see the time, the care, and the quiet faithfulness behind it, and we recognize that none of this would be possible without you.

To every pastor who has opened your church doors and your hearts to our work: thank you. We are honored to serve alongside you, and we are praying for you this month and always.

In His Service,

Desirée Miller

Lives Changed

YOU are the hands and feet of Jesus

Dariana attended this year's Walk for Life with her family and friends. Her son was the winner of the first ever CPC baby crawl race! Dariana shared with staff after the event that CPC has helped her in many ways. She is thankful for support with baby supplies and even more so, the volunteers and staff that she encounters when she comes for appointments help her with her walk with Christ. "They share the love of Christ every time I come in."

September Highlights

NC Faith & Freedom Coalition's- Salt and Light Conference

The weekend of September 25-27 held the 2026 Salt and Light Conference at the beautiful Nebo Crossing Church in Marion, NC. Jeni, Morgan, and Desirée attended the Salt and Light Conference on behalf of CPC. The conference aimed to educate, engage, and mobilize believers to be active participants in shaping our society, hoping to inspire attendees to become catalysts for change that will defend biblical truths and conservative principles. The theme this year was LIFE, and it was very fitting for us to have a Road to 100 table there. We were able to share about the vision for Road to 100 with many people who stopped by our table.

The conference hosted pastors, elected officials, TV personalities and a wide range of like-minded believers. We are very grateful to Jason Williams and the entire NC Faith & Freedom Coalition team for such an impactful weekend of worship, speakers, and fellowship. If you have a Facebook account, Click here to watch the closing ceremony featuring Marc Newman (President of Speaker for Life), David Gibbs III (Attorney who represented the Terry Schiavo case), and Abby Johnson (Former Planned Parenthood director).

Heart's Hope- Night of Hope Gala

Road to 100 began as a way for every county in NC to have a pregnancy center for women and families. Generous donors poured into this mission, and the Road to 100 committee has been working to connect with the 19 remaining counties. Heart's Hope-Duplin County opened May 2026 as a part of this initiative. Director Lorrie Kennedy spoke at our Celebration of Life Event earlier this year. She has already begun seeing clients, had a successful Baby Bottle campaign, and now the gala. Their first annual Night of Hope Gala took place on September 24th. Desirée attended the gala and participated as a guest speaker to explain the background of how Heart's Hope began and it's ties to Road to 100. Lorrie has shared with our staff that there is much spiritual warfare. We ask you to please pray for Lorrie and her board members that they will be able to continue serving women and families in and around Duplin County.

A Fond Farewell
