Promote your sustainable business!

The Green Business Leaders team celebrated Earth Day on April 23 by hosting an event at Hidden Creek Community Center. More than 50 attendees learned how Laika, MARCO Ideas Unlimited and NW Natural are committed to sustainability and how they achieved the Green Business Leaders certification.

If you would like to learn how your workplace can reduce waste and be more sustainable, contact the Green Business Leaders program. You may have the opportunity to present and promote your sustainability efforts at the next Green Business Leaders roundtable, too!

Stay on top of business requirements

State and local governments have rules and policies that require businesses and organizations to properly dispose of items and recycle more. Check out our website for more information on recycling requirements, food waste composting and the polystyrene foam ban. Contact us if you have questions or want more information on how these policies may impact your workplace.

Pollution prevention resources and tips!

The Pollution Prevention Resource Center (PPRC) helps businesses to reduce or prevent pollution by sharing reliable information to improve operations. Check out PPRC’s website for free resources, videos and event listings.
