The Stars may not have aligned... but the Sun and the Moon are going to.
On Monday, August 21, 2017, millions of people across the U.S. will get to see one of nature's most awe-inspiring sights -- a total solar eclipse. For the lucky people in the path of totality, which spans 70 miles and crosses portions of 14 states from Oregon to North Carolina, they'll get to watch as day turns into night when the moon blocks the sun. With wide-open spaces and low light pollution, public lands are the perfect place for viewing this rare event.  Click Here for Tips

If you miss this event, you are still able to capture night skies at some of the best star gazing locations in the state. Come to the slopes of the White Pass Ski Area or head up to Mt. Rainier at Paradise or Sunrise and watch the stars. All you need is a night sky away from the city lights. Learn to photograph this phenomenal display. Contact:  Ian McRae.
