Introducing Our NEW Newsletter

This newsletter is designed for YOU.

To inform, to inspire, to educate, to entertain YOU.

Please READ ON.

Welcome to our first edition of Between The Pages, the Friends of Kingston Library’s (FoKL) quarterly newsletter. We are all friends of the library so, just "between friends” we want to share what we are reading, the latest library buzz, recommendations and insider tips to keep you in the loop. And we want to hear from you!

We're always interested in people's experiences with the Kingston Library. It's such a personal relationship, and we want to celebrate it, with your help. Please send us an (up to) 340-word story on why you love your library, or an experience you had at the Kingston Library, and we'll feature as many as we can in our online edition! Libraries are meant to be shared, and so are your stories. Email your stories to fokl@friendsofkingstonlibrary.org Attn: My Story about Kingston Library.

Let’s explore our love for books, the library and our community together.

Libraries Reckon with High E-Book Costs

"High e-book prices are forcing local librarians to make tough choices as the popularity of digital checkouts surge.

Why it matters: Ongoing price disputes between libraries and book publishers threaten to limit patrons' access."
