Join a committee in Housing and Ancillary Services!

Residence Advisory Committee (RAC)

The Residence Advisory Committee (RAC) provides a forum to voice opinions and ideas to the Housing and Ancillary Services administration. RAC serves as a consultative group, advising on decisions directly affecting students in residence, promoting students' well-being, and is complementary to the attainment of academic excellence.

Input and feedback are welcome on various matters pertaining to housing services, student programming, resources, and departmental budget priorities.

If this sounds like something you would like to get involved with, please email reslife@queensu.ca with a maximum 250-word statement outlining any relevant experience and why you would like to be involved.

Safety and Security Committee

The Safety and Security Committee meets bi-monthly to discuss safety and security topics within Housing and Ancillary Services. This group covers the annual review of the Access Control Policy, standards for access control and video surveillance within Residence, safety and security trends, crisis response planning and more.

We are recruiting for a student representative. For more details and to express interest in this committee, please contact resfcc@queensu.ca.
