From understanding credit to budgeting, April is Financial Literacy Month, and it is a great time to look at getting your finances in order to help you prepare for buying a home in the future.


Resources are available across the state to support you in boosting your financial well-being and getting you on track to achieve your goals.



Once your finances are in a good spot, speaking with a mortgage loan professional is a great way to learn about loan programs and down payment assistance options available. CHFA has a network of Participating Lenders across the state who can help you get started.

You can get answers to questions about how to buy a home, down payment assistance, and other resources for homebuyers. Call 1.844.926.6632 or visit coloradohousingconnects.com. The phone line is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm MT.
