Welcome Booklet for Newcomers to New Jersey

The NJ Department of Human Services, Office of New Americans has developed a Welcome Booklet for Newcomers The booklet provides information and supports referral and navigation of key services and resources for newly arrived immigrants

The booklet outlines the immediate services - such as legal support, food assistance, and healthcare - that can assist newly arrived immigrants in New Jersey.

The online booklet has direct links to websites including additional programs and contact information.

This resource is especially important as we welcome an increasing number of newcomers to New Jersey communities.

Please note this booklet is not a comprehensive explanation of services but an initial digital guide for new arrivals in our state.
