NJ Dept. of Education, Office of Special Education, Summer Learning Institute
July 14 - July 25
The New Jersey Department of Education’s (NJDOE) Office of Special Education will be hosting the 3rd Annual Summer Learning Institute (SLI 2025) through the Learning Resource Centers (LRC) to empower educators and families with the knowledge and support they need to meet the needs of diverse learners.
The theme for this year is “Every Learner, Every Step, Every Path”. The SLI 2025 will offer a variety of professional learning opportunities to enhance our schools’ ability to provide a continuum of support to the diverse students of New Jersey. Improving policies, practices, and procedures will empower educators, families, and stakeholders to better serve every learner along their educational and life journey. Expect a mix of sessions led by NJDOE experts, as well as collaborative presentations with external organizations.
Over twenty-one (21) sessions will be offered for administrators, teachers, child study team members, families, and other stakeholders from July 14th through July 25th. Sessions will be held virtually with the exception of one, three-hour, in-person workshop on Using Early Literacy Data for Instructional Planning at the Learning Resource Center – Central on July 17th.
