NJ Department of Human Services, Office of New Americans Launches New Webpage for Migrants

The Office of New Americans has launched a webpage with important information for certain migrants who are eligible for an Employment Authorization Document (EAD).

Employers in the United States are required to verify that employees are allowed to work in the country. Certain foreign nationals may need to prove their eligibility to work in the U.S. by presenting an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), also known as a work permit.

The site details what an EAD is, who is eligible, how to apply, and other important information.
