Mixed Use Redevelopment Success Story
Taking a comprehensive look behind the scenes of 200 E Church St., a stunning former federal building located in downtown Elmira. Widely regarded as a cornerstone structure in the city, the significant investment and patience invested in its restoration have truly paid off.
Thanks to support from the State of New York and the City of Elmira, including a Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant funding in 2017 as well as Restore NY funding in 2010 and the NY Main Street Program to help stabilize and preserve the structure, this exquisite building has been revitalized with a burst of new vitality.
This building is now the proud home to over ten businesses, including retail, massage therapy, golf, IllEagle taphouse and restaurant and much more. We recently had the opportunity to visit Fore Seasons Indoor Golf which features a golf simulator, darts, cornhole, and various other games.
