EB - Nope. The Cannabis Cup tends to be handed out to 1 of 2 shops, Barney's or The Greenhouse. (Yes, I believe it's rigged) Also, in order to enter you have to make your bud available through a coffee shop and those logistics are a pain in the ass. =Chubbs

Marin Alliance for Medical Marijuana, California's Oldest Dispensary of its Kind, Closes

The Marin Alliance for Medical Marijuana, considered to be the oldest dispensary of its kind in the state of California, closed quietly last weekend. Alliance moved out of their location on Sunday morning, after being evicted from their location in Fairfax.

The collective's eviction was initiated by their landlord after Melinda Haag, a US Attorney for the Northern District of California, threatened to confiscate the building, essentially leaving the landlord with little choice if he did not want to lose possession of his property.

This specific dispensary was targeted due to its proximity to parks, schools, and/or other facilities used by children.
