High School Students Build

Gingerbread Wonders

Every holiday season, the confectionary engineers of Dobbs Ferry High School put their construction skills to the test, creating molasses reinforced marvels to compete in Art Teacher Serena Buschi's gingerbread house competition. This year saw fierce competition with candy scene elements suspended in the air and more than one sweet structure reaching all the way up to the ceiling.

Featured here are the five winners by popular vote: Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Starry Night, Rainbow Road and Godzilla. All of our gingerbread projects can be seen on our facebook page.

Virtual Author Visit Brings Stories to Life

Dobbs Ferry Middle School 7th graders had the chance to meet some of their favorite authors this month. Thank you to author Kwame Alexander and Alan Gatz for helping your stories come to life for our students and thank you to the DFPTSA for sponsoring this incredible opportunity!

Spreading Holiday Joy with Toys for Tots

Dobbs Ferry High School students wouldn't let the holiday season pass them by without giving back through one or more of the several donation drives happening throughout the district. Thanks to the efforts of students working with Toys for Tots, dozens of children will enjoy a surprise gift this season.

Winter Concert Delights Crowds

The winter concert season has come to an end with a bombastic finale by all of our high school orchestra, chorus and band musicians! Thank you to the Dobbs Ferry community for the outpouring of support they showed and we look forward to seeing you again for the spring concerts.
