Don't forget! Open enrollment for Individual and Family Plans begins Nov. 1. In a few days, you will receive a letter from Security Health Plan that outlines your coverage options for 2023. This letter explains important changes you should know about this year’s open enrollment period.
You may qualify for additional savings
You are not enrolled in a plan through the Federally-facilitated Exchange (Marketplace). This means, if you remain enrolled in this plan, you won’t get financial help from the federal government to help lower your monthly premium or out-of-pocket costs (like plan deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance). The American Rescue Plan Act adjusted the premium tax credit guidelines for all plans purchased on the Marketplace. This means, regardless of your income, you will not have to pay more than 8.5% of your household’s annual income for the second-lowest-cost Silver plan available in your area on the Marketplace. To see if you qualify for these savings and to enroll in a Marketplace plan, visit HealthCare.gov by Dec. 15, 2022.
The open enrollment period ends Jan. 15, 2023.
